About the works
I have been making oil paintings since 2012. Since 2021, printing has also been added, which has led to some mixed media works. Each image has a personal story. It becomes a scene that has an emotion/atmosphere. And there, color, image, texture and detail are just actors or extras who each have to make their contribution to the scene. The image itself sharpens or blurs and details make way for impressions. Colors and texture become more intense. Suggestions take precedence over forms.
